Will: We had a club. The ‘I hate Rachel’ Club.
So he played a guy that told everyone that Rachel had both male and female genitalia, cameras off and they carpool to they’re huge villa in the hills and have sex. I don’t know why I am so amused by this.
One of the best episodes ever.
My ten top favourite actors:
-Number 8
Brad Pitt
There was a time when I hated Brad Pitt. There was a time when I misunderstood Brad Pitt. See, there was a time when the only thing I knew about him was that he was dating Jennifer Aniston, he was a sexy heart throb and Peoples Magazine continuously voted him ’ The Sexiest Man Alive’ and he never wore a shirt and always seemed to be oily and wet.
But then I saw Fight Club. How fucking good was that movie ? How fucking was Brad Pitt in that movie ? Then I saw Seven and I changed my mind. First of all, he has aged better than a good bottle of champagne, he contributes to charity and he can rock a fucking mustache. He’s a god damn good actor and I am so glad he was able to cut out of that stupid ‘Pretty Boy’ persona Hollywood insisted on him. Kudos Brad.

Day 11 - A movie that changed your opinion about something
Fight Club completely changed my opinion on Brad Pitt. I used to hate him because he was on the cover of all the suburbia-mom magazine, “sexiest man alive” and everyone was loosing their minds over this hunk-o-meat. I didn’t think he was all that special and quite frankly I didn’t believe he could act at all.
And then I saw Fight Club, probably one of the greatest movies ever made, an instant cult-classic and admired by millions of people. The ingenious words of Palahniuk twist so perfectly together, the masterful plot and the brilliant acting. The life philosophy presented in this movie is also genius.
This movie made me love Brad Pitt, for many years to come and made me see past the “pretty-boy-people’s-sexiest-man-alive” persona and see him for the truly great and marvelous actor that he so genuinely is.
Day 01- The best movie you saw during the last year
I’m such a movie buff, I couldn’t resist on starting this meme, even though my exam-term is up ! Anyways, the best movie I saw last year…
I saw so many great movies in 2009 (that is movies, that were made in 2009) like Watchmen, Inglorious Basterds, Public Enemies, Brothers, The Hangover and many more. Lets just say the movie theaters were my second home in the summer of 2009.
But the best movie, is nearly a tie between Watchmen and Inglorious Basterds. I love Watchmen because I am a nerd and the adaptation of the movie was great, the ending superior to the comic and nearly everything about it is perfect.
But Inglorious Basterds is just so fucking genius ! A Hollywood blockbuster with minimum spoken English, great actors and a devious plot. I thought it was brilliant, gore and violent. And as to expect from Tarantino, the dialog is also brilliant. I love the way how he switches from French to German, to English to Italian and back to German. It’s just great. There is a good reason why Christoph Waltz was rewarded The Oscar for his extravagant portrayal of Colonel Hans Landa and there is a reason why everyone loves Brad Pitt. The characters are all well played out and thought out and there development suits the movie perfectly. Everyone has seen a Nazi like Landa and a crazy patriotic soldier like Aldo Raine. And who better to destroy the Third Reich then a Jew ? Brilliant !
Plus I’ve always had a crush on Daniel Brühl.
There is so more I could write about this movie, but yes, Inglorious Basterds is my pick for the best movie of 2009.
