In Bruges, 12/27/2012

A fragment of my diary entry from Bruges:

24. sept 2012

Today there are six days left. We came to Bruges yesterday, in the pouring rain, and we were kind of lost in life. We didn’t have a hostel booked, we didn’t really know where we were or how to get to the center, and on top of that we couldn’t find a map or wifi that could help us find a place to stay. AND IT WAS RAINING SOOOOOO HARD. Let me just say that again. But it turned out alright, we found a hostel, got something to eat and bought candy to munch on while we played cards in the hostel bar. I wasn’t upset with the rain, oddly enough, and ran after Silja down our street, laughing maniacally in the torrential downpour. She was really mad. My sweater is still soaked, 24 hours later.

I was mad at the rain! It was too much rain! But I loved Bruges. Memories forever. Thank you.

Travel plans!

Hey, me and smilinghooks are taking a mini Euro Trip this coming September. We start in Copenhagen, to Malmö, to Amsterdam, to Brussels, to Bruges and back home. 

Tell me everything I need to know about these places. 

Is there anyone out there who’s interested in meeting two fantastic traveling Icelanders and showing them around?
